Upon being fired out from his tribe, Atouk, a young miserable man who is socially awkward and in love with Lana, the beautiful mate of the tribe's strongest leader, makes his mind to set up his own tribe of misfits, under his leadership, as together they learn more about the outside world, discovering fire and how to defend themselves.
