Mary Henry decided to ride in a car with two other young women in order to enter a strong race across the bridge. As the race against a group of men intensifies, the women's car sinks to the side in the river. The police spend three hours investigating, as Mary did not remember what actually happened and did not remember that she had miraculously survived. Mary then went to Utah, where she was appointed as a member of the church and it seemed that strange paths along the way might occur.

What is amazing about the film CARNIVAL OF SOULS is that the cheap budget works so much in its favor. There is little unreal to get between the actors and the viewer.
