The fact that the filmmakers didn't really have much to work with beyond archival and current documentary footage makes their accomplishment all the more impressive.
"Can't Stop, Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story" seems more intimate and revealing than these sorts of artist-approved self-mythologies usually are - even if it fails to fill in all of Combs' blanks in 80 minutes.
Shallow and dull. Stylish cinematography and editing alone, sans any substance, do not make a doc even remotely great. It's one of the most disappointing documentaries of the year.
