In an attempt to achieve victories, a team has tasked the legendary baseball coach, Don, to be the trainer of the team. Don has many wins and victories in his career but this time may be difficult. He has gotten a new assistant called Michael with whom he tries to make the team better.
Dramatically speaking, the runners never advance in "Benched," an overlong, talky comedy about two Little League coaches with decidedly different philosophies.
