In an attempt to spend beautiful time together, four young get a luxury RV and start their journey to Cabo where they have intentions to spend their winter break. While they on their trip, they make various things living together through a chain of comedy events.
Vidal doesn't sufficiently mine the buddy dynamic. He's more interested in the romantic side of things, which would have been fine if his female characters weren't so boring and one-dimensional.
The scenery's pleasant and the actors are mostly likable. If "Baja" had been made in the '60s, it would have some kitsch appeal. It's easy watching, for anyone who needs a little mind-vacation.
Baja doesn't have the most original plot nor an overarching style. But the characters are really likable, the actors' chemistry is off the charts, and the cordial ambiance invites the viewer to lay back and have a good time.
