The film is about Frank Vega, who decided to return to his country after the war in Vietnam. On a bus, Frank came to go through a different experience in order to defend a black man while he was harassed and humiliated. Now, Frank's life is completely transformed when his best friend kills Klondike and the police are not doing anything in front of what happened.
It's often difficult to tell what's bad on purpose or just badly handled. The cargo shorts and fanny pack? Purposely funny. The slack pacing? Probably not.
