Following the everyday life of teenagers nowadays in the age of technology, this documentary, follows the lives of two young teenager and attractive girls, Audrie and Diasy, who suffers from the sexual assaults that receive from their friedms, the thing that brings terrible for them and challenges them.
Unfortunately, Audrie & Daisy can only show reprehensible behavior rather than break it down. Thankfully, it also shows how women can speak out and be their own advocates.
The movie is a sobering look at the minefield teenage girls traverse when it comes to drinking, pressure from porn-addled boys and social media popularity.
The documentary scrutinizes the "blame the victim" mentality that has seemingly gotten worse in the internet era. But the film also offers a redemptive message of compassion via a network of survivors.
