The film deals with a dangerous experience driven by two rival assassins as they form an uneasy alliance to drop a drug cartel supported by the DEA. Things still seem mysterious as one man tries to take revenge on his wife and the other gets a reward for a job.
Assassination Games doesn't fully exploit -- in, say, the manner in which Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa did -- the age and earned maturity of its leading man.
