The movie is about a Korean girl. She lost contact with her boyfriend so she travels around Europe to find him. On her way to Venice, she faces a horrible incident in the train which makes she wonders about life and relationships.
"Amen" is a difficult film to watch, as Kim Ki-duk seems to be at his most experimental. Kim Ye-na, the extreme and exploitative mystery, and some beautiful images of Europe help a bit, but the movie remains one for the hardcore fans of the director.
