Moving into living in such a dying coast with her father, Rayne, a young smart teenager girl, who struggles against leaving her friends, but, when she meets a teenager mermaid, her life turns upside down, as she befriends her, and together, they work on saving the town.
From a critic's perspective, A Mermaid's Tale is a C- at best. But young Caitlin Carmichael is likable as the female lead and the playful relationship she has with her father plus surprisingly good production values helps a little.
