In September 2001 Todd Beamer was an account manager for Oracle and resided in Cranbury, New Jersey, with his wife, Lisa Beamer, and two sons, David and Drew. He attended Los Gatos High School, Wheaton Academy, DePaul University, California State University, Fresno and Wheaton College. Todd Beamer was killed aboard United Flight 93 on September 11th, 2001. His daughter, Morgan Kay, was born January 9, 2002, four months after Beamer's death. He is the person credited with uttering the words Are you guys ready? Lets Roll with reference to an attempt to retake the aircraft from the hijackers by force. Shortly thereafter, the plane crashed into a field in Shanksville PA killing all on board.
