Scottish police officer. Misanthropic, alcoholic, drug addicted; Bruce gets through life by playing what he calls the games - fiendish plots devised in everyday life in an attempt to snare his co-workers and friends. Bruce has a dark and tragic past, which he hides with a cold cynicism and at times, outright anger, towards everything around him.
