Martin Garnett is a by-the-book Deputy District Attorney who has a strained relationship with the LAPD. He is the prosecutor involved in the cases against attorney and suspected serial rapist Phillip Stroh. Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson has little patience with him, but that's not unusual for her.
