TF221 is the fictional US Army Special Forces unit in the film. They have an antagonistic role to Miller and Martin Brown. The unit is led by Briggs, played by Jason Isaacs, and under the command of Clark Poundstone. They intervene with Miller and the 85th early when the unit takes control of Tashir al-Malik, and later track Miller to find al-Rawi.
