Jesse Hooker is some years older than the American Civil War and for a cold-blooded killer with an imaginative mind for murder he is surprisingly wise and lenient. Jesse is the father figure to the most disturbed and dysfunctional family there ever was and is far separated from the human race, more so than any of them.
