He remains attached to the X5 program and tries to recapture the super-soldiers, whom he refers to as my kids . Eventually Lydecker switches sides after the project's director betrays him. He becomes a valuable ally helping Logan find out what has happened to Max in the beginning of Season Two, but he soon disappears under mysterious circumstances.
