One of the can-toi or low men/women (Stephen King, Hearts in Atlantis), who look more or less human, but who are actually human/taheen hybrids. Tirana, whose appearance is that of an obese low woman, is first encountered in The Dixie Pig, where Detta Walker rips off her mask and exposes her for who she really is.
