Dander is a teen-aged boy who hopes to spot the Batman from the heights of Gotham's Aparo Tower. He gets more than he bargained for when he is part of a crowd taken hostage by would-be supervillain Jacob Feely, a.k.a. the self-styled Man in Black. Dander finds himself targetted by the Feely only to be saved by the Batman.
