Along with his friend and fellow ne'er-do-well Richard Allen, Dan Mounts is one of Kim Bauer's kidnappers. In kidnapping young Kim, he risks the wrath of CTU agent Jack Bauer, which is potentially far more dangerous than crossing his criminal employers. Of Kim's two kidnappers, Dan is arguably the most repellent.
