Heather Thompson is a medical sales professional who makes calls on the hospital where nurse Callie Cargill works. She is rather fearless and aggressive, and immediately notices that there might be something more than friendship between Callie and detective Jim Longworth. This doesn't stop her from asking out Jim on her own, however.
