Rain Robinson is a female scientist living in Los Angeles during the late 20th century. In 1996, she receives a research grant from powerful entrepreneur and supposed technological genius Henry Starling. Robinson detects the warp signature from the U.S.S. Voyager when the ship was transported back in time.
