Gabi and Carlos hire a Xiao-Mei to help them with chores after she is forced to move back to her harsh life in her home country. However, Xiao-Mei's time in the Solis house is short lived when Gabi finds that she is having an affair with Carlos. They keep her in the house as a surrogate mother but then lose the baby.
