We are first introduced to Greg when we see him at the school lockers with his friend Ray. Ray asks Greg's opinion on whether or not certain stylings of a shirt make him look gay and, despite it seeming like Ray is deliberately trying to look stereotypically gay, Greg tells him they don't. It could be assumed that he isn't very fashion savvy, but it seems more likely that this is just one of many jokes about Ray's sexuality and his friends' ignorance of it.Greg sometimes over-reacts to news in a very aggressive manner. This can first be seen when he punches his locker and curses because of a poor report card, and can also be seen when we witness him hurting the film's main character (Cindy) on more than one occasion. He and his girlfriend Buffy Gilmore have a very public and sexual relationship. We see them wrapped around each other, kissing passionately a number of times.Along with his school friends, Greg was involved in the covered-up manslaughter of a man (one year previous to the first film). After a fellow student is murdered at home, the friends meet at school and their crime is mentioned by Cindy. This aggravates Greg, who insists it was an accident. The film then flashes back to the fateful night. In this flashback, we learn that he enjoys having his bottom played with when Ray, who Greg mistakes as Buffy, appears to put a finger up there (and Greg says how good it feels). We also learn that Greg has quite a wild side when we see him pull off Buffy's underwear and then stand up in the car so that half of his body is through the sunroof. This act resulted in him acquiring an injury when a tree branch hit him in the head. Disorientated, he tried to get his bearings, but was hit by several more tree branches. One of the trees contained a bee hive, which became stuck on his head. The chaos led to Bobby (the driver) failing to see the man in front of the car, and the vehicle ended up hitting him. The car then swerved before regaining control; apparently leading to the beehive being flung from Greg's head (we see it is gone when they come to a stop). No lasting damage was done to Greg. However, rather than being concerned about what (or who) the car hit, his first reaction was to express anger over the damage done to his car.During the flashback, we also see how very opposed he was to the idea of telling the police what happened (due to his concerns about what aroused convicts would allegedly do to him in jail). Here he continues to display a selfish side by suggesting they get rid of the man's body rather than reporting the accident to the police.Because the gang were talking so loudly and feeling panicked, they failed to notice their victim get to his feet. Continuing to be ignorant of this, we see Greg throw his alcoholic drink (implying he doesn't care about littering). Still unbeknownst to the friends, the can hit the victim on his head, resulting in him being knocked unconscious once again.Along with Bobby and Ray, Greg ran over to the body and picked it up, moving it to the trunk of the car. When Buffy was unable to force the trunk shut, Greg did so instead. He seems to be portrayed as quite macho throughout the film - in addition to this incident, he is a very physical person; enjoying both fighting and boxing (the latter can be seen around a third of the way through).Greg may be thought of as not having much of a conscience or consideration for others, as - still in the flashback - he happily robbed the victim of their possessions. He, Ray, and Buffy are the people who actually threw the man's body into the water. Before they did so, Cindy again suggested calling the police, but Greg still refused to do this. He then made the gang swear a pact to never tell anybody about what they had done. When Cindy remained silent, he approached her and strangled her until she agreed. The flashback ends around this point.Greg does not shower with the other males in his school, which we later find out is because he has a small penis. This is discovered when someone puts a photograph of Greg's limp penis in-between lockers, with the words I know! written underneath. It angers Greg, but he doesn't physically express this anger towards the person who he suspects put the photograph there. This could suggest that Greg has misogynistic feelings, as he is only ever violent towards a woman. He shouts across the presumably empty locker room that a small dick's like a disability and asks whether the person responsible would make fun of a man in a wheelchair - again suggesting that he prefers to be seen as macho. However, no one responds. Rather than being discreet about it, Greg shows his friends the photograph and demands to know who took it, thus revealing to them his small penis. When his friends laugh at him, his excuse is that the hot water had been off at the time.Cindy tells him that she received a note as well and, for the third time, suggests calling the police about the manslaughter (as she is worried that someone is seeking revenge). Still as opposed to this as ever, Greg becomes physically violent and starts punching Cindy with one hand, whilst grasping her by the throat with the other. He throws her to the ground and begins kicking her. When he has finished, he tells the others that if someone wants a piece of him, they can bring it on because he refuses to go to jail (i.e. he would rather fight a potential murderer than turn himself in to the police). (Although she stays down for the remainder of the scene, Cindy isn't actually harmed. The violence towards her is meant to be comical; perhaps poking fun of the way some males act overly aggressive just to appear macho .)Later, Greg's girlfriend Buffy enters the school's Teen Beauty Pageant. She is the third contestant to model a light blue swimsuit. Greg (with Bobby and Cindy) stands on the balcony directly opposite the stage and shouts words of support. However, when he proudly shouts, That's my girlfriend , other guys in the audience shout the same. It is unknown whether this is because Buffy is seeing people behind Greg's back or if the men are just expressing wishful thinking.Buffy tells the audience that she will be performing a dramatic reading. Greg shouts for Buffy to Do that thing from Bay Watch (where a woman runs down the beach and her breasts bounce). Evidently, he enjoys female assets. Buffy doesn't respond and is presumably about to perform something else, when she notices the killer sneaking up behind Greg. She shouts a warning to him. Greg momentarily thinks this part of her act, and so he fails to turn around, but does so after she continues to shout. The killer attacks and Greg tries to fight, but the murderer begins stabbing him with a knife, and finishes by slitting his throat. This is the last we see of Greg. Show less «
