The youngest child of Tenzin and Pema, Meelo is very energetic (unless meditating). He is their only son and gets along fairly well with his older sisters. He has a very big head and small body, he is similar in appearance to Aang but he doesn't seem to be very bright. He is unable to recognize Katara as his grandmother and accidently tries to use a non-exsistant toilet at the gala held for Korra.
