Principal Turner isn't a main or regular character. He appears every so often when someone is in trouble, as done something worth celebrating or a high school event is on. He is strict but has a soft side. This is shown as he fires Haley James, the valedictorian, from the tutor centre when Rachel Gatina steals Haley's tutor key and steals test papers for Brooke Davis. He then shows his soft side when Brooke tells the truth about the test papers and Principal Turner allows her to graduate as she won't be needing calculus for college.
