Jackson Rippner is the villian in the 2005 Wes Craven film Red Eye He is played by Irish-born actor Cillian Murphy.Hardly any background on the character is revealed until Rippner himself reveals that he is an operative working for a group who intends to assassinate the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, and Lisa (heroine played by Racheal McAdams) is instrumental in his plans because of her job at the Lux Atlantic Hotel as acting manager. If she refuses to cooperate, then Rippner will prompt a hit-man to kill her fath3r.Since Murphy himself is around 30, it can be assumed that Jackson Rippner is also around such age.Rippner does crack a joke about killing his parents for his name is dangerously close to Jack the Ripper. Though no one knows if he's serious or not.Rippner also states that he Never lied to Lisa because it doesn't suit him.
