Franklin Foggy Nelson is the best friend and law partner of Matt Murdock. Having met Matt while they were in Columbia Law School as roommates, the two have formed a strong relationship and founded their own law firm: Nelson and Murdock together. While for several decades Foggy was unaware of Matt's secret vilgilante activities as Daredevil, once he found out, though disappointed at not being told sooner, he continues to support Matt despite all the difficulties that come their way namely due to Matt's activities.
