Carter (Chris Tucker) knows the Pool Hall Doorman who works for his cousin but doesn't want him to let that knowledge slip in front of Lee (Jackie Chan) who thinks they're entering a strange establishment Carter has never been in; he punches the Doorman out to keep him quiet when the Doorman starts to greet him.
