Brian Williams is the father of Rory Williams, eventual father-in-law of Amy Pond and grandfather of River Song. He first meets the Eleventh Doctor when the TARDIS appears as he's changing a light bulb. He travels to the planet Siluria with the Doctor and the dinosaurs on the Silurian Ark.
