They are opposed by the Sanguinistas, an extreme faction of vampires who are against mainstreaming and believe humans are inferior to vampires and are merely food.Her chancellorship was sponsored by Salome Agrippa.She is skilled at deceit, unflappable and very smart.Background: She was born as a human in the 1640s in Surrey, England and selflessly cared for people afflicted with the Black Death. Eric Northman saw this dedication and fearlessness and took her to his maker Godric to turn her. Because she shares a maker with Eric, she is considered his vampire sister and cares for him deeply. Godric made Eric promise to always protect Nora when he turned her.
