Sanchit Gupta

Sanchit Gupta is a screenwriter and an author. The screenplay based on his critically acclaimed and bestselling book- The Tree with a Thousand Apples, has been long-listed at Sundance Screenwriters' lab International- 2017, while the book got long-listed at Rabindranath Tagore Literary Award. His second book- 'Second Wind', has recently been released.An electronics engineer from NIT and Marketing majors from NMIMS, he worked for several years as a Brand Manager before becoming a full time writer. In the meanwhile, he donned several hats as a part-time copywriter, co-founder of a theatre group, talk show host for All India Radio, editor for an online magazine and executive producer-fiction for a leading television network.He is writing films and web series for several leading production houses.
