Jonas Hämmerle was born on 4 January 1998 in Ditzingen-Heimerdingen. With his parents and his three older siblings, he lives in Berlin. There he attends the 6th Class of a German-American school.In his spare time he practices a lot of sport. He plays tennis and dances in a Jazz-Dance group. For a long time, he also practised gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do. Another passion is the music. At school, Jonas plays the cello in the orchestra and trumpet in a band.He reached film through his sister. She had the idea to apply to a children's casting agency. He quickly got the chance to play in a TV commercial for a car manufacturer. There followed his first leading role in the family drama Vater aus Liebe (2008).
