She began her acting career in the Northern California, where she performed on stage, and appeared in numerous commercials. In 1991 she moved to Los Angeles to study at the Playhouse West. While there she performed on stage, and in film and television, including 3 seasons as a trauma nurse on NBC's hit drama ER.In 2005 Donna produced, wrote and directed her first feature film, Only For You.
