Amaurys Rodriguez

Amaurys Rodriguez was born in the Dominican Republic, and moved to New York City at the age of 10 to pursue an acting career. His mother enrolled him in a commercial acting class soon after, and he soon became very passionate about acting. Throughout his childhood and high school career he trained at HB Studios and T. Schreibers Studios, as well as participated in the local theatre. Although he was learning the craft and was on the right path to achieving his childhood dream, he put his acting career on hold in order to earn a degree in Corporate and Cable Communications. With his degree in hand, he began working as a cameraman for a local television station at the age of 18. After nearly 7 years behind the camera Amaurys decided to return to acting and give his passion a second try, this time more dedicated and determined than ever. Show less «
