Angel Christian Roman is the grandnephew of Dominican character actor Rafael Campos. He is also a cousin to Dominican actors James Victor and Victor Campos.Angel was raised by a single mom in Astoria, New York. His interest in acting began at age 5 by watching "Blackboard Jungle'' with his uncle playing a juvenile delinquent. After numerous school plays, he studied under Miriam Colon director, of the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater. He is currently working with Ryan Murphy on '' Pose''.
