Shana Montanez

Shana Montanez, a Chicago native, has paved her career as an Actress, Singer & Dancer. She attended Columbia College where she received her BFA in Theatre, as well as a full dance scholarship at Joel Hall Dance Academy. She was seen on the main stage at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago with the production of "Zoot Suit." She was selected out of thousands to participate in the CBS Latino Showcase in Hollywood & as a finalist in the second season of the WB's, Popstars. Most recently she appeared in FX's "The Shield" and completed her debut lead in the Indy Feature "Uncharted." She was part of both the LA and Chicago ensembles of "Latinologues," a one of a kind production from the mind of Rick Najera (Mad TV, In Living Color) most recently on Broadway. In addition to opening for a Pre-Latin Grammy Concert hosted by Grammy Winning Artist, Juanes, at the Avalon in Hollywood, performing all original music; she also toured the US as a backup dancer as part of the sold out and highly anticipated Mary Tour.
