American dancer who changed careers and became an award-winning makeup artist. After several years appearing in the choruses of Broadway musicals in New York, Heim relocated to Hollywood. He got work as a company dancer on several variety and musical programs, working with Red Skelton and Carol Burnett. As television dance work became less available, Heim shifted to makeup and in 1990 won an Emmy Award for his work in daytime television. He succumbed to cancer at the age of 57. Show less «
