She earned critical acclaim for her performance as Midhuna and won the Best Debutante Award from Maa TV. The following year she starred in Doosukeltha which also proved to be successful. In 2014, she made her debut in Tamil cinema with Brahman in which she played an aspiring journalist, Gayathri. She quickly landed her next Tamil film role, in Naanum Rowdydhaan, but was removed from the film when a new production studio took over the project.
