Jack Curtis was the son of agent Jack Curtis Sr., of Rose & Curtis, and Vaudeville star Mabel Ford. He was born and raised in Queens, New York. Jack did many voice-overs and cartoon voices. He did not do on camera work because he was born with a defect; his hand had been wrapped up in his mother's umbilical cord and never formed properly. He played the piano, however, quite well. He was a wonderful musician and was very witty. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always made puns and played on words. His voice was featured in several cartoons, Speed Racer, Marine Boy and Kimba the White Lion. He directed, shot and edited a film called The Flesh Eaters (1964) under a pseudonym. He wasn't union and didn't want to get in trouble. His main career was as an editor, though. He had a company called Film Sync and did a lot of dubbing. He left a 5 year old daughter, Liane, and a wife, Paulette Rubinstein. Show less «
