Marcello Cacioppo

Marcello (named after Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni) is the youngest of five children, he is of Sicilian descent (parents are both from Agrigento, Sicily) and his hometown is Toronto, Canada. Before falling into acting Marcello played drums in high school, and continued to play in local bars with various musicians including his older brother Lu Caci (guitarist of the band "Mar-KZ"). Years later Marcello was sought out by a theatrical agent after a write up on his performance in play had appeared in a local newspaper "The Toronto Sun". At first reluctant ,giving up the stage for the big screen became his focus . Most of his credits have been those of low budget film productions , straight to video and film festival screenings .
