During her high school years, she portrayed "Diana Barry" in the Canadian mini-series Anne of Green Gables (1985). She later went to Columbia University: majoring in History and minoring in Theatre. Since then, Schuyler has done numerous theatrical productions; including "MacBeth" and "The Importance of Being Earnest" (with Eric Stoltz).
