Alex has contributed to Politico and writes an online column.He also writes an entire magazine every year called College Football Today, a preview publication for the season sold across the U.SWhile reporting for WCAX-TV in Vermont, Alex was selected to follow Bernie Sanders during the 2016 presidential election. Alex also covered the Vermont legislature and the opiate crisis in Vermont and New Hampshire. He won the television show Stranded with a Million Dollars after spending 40 days on an island in Fiji.
