Ryan Francois

Born in England, Ryan Francois is a well-established swing dancer who does a great deal of instruction as well as competitions. He performed in the Broadway musical 'Swing' with Jenny Thomas, whom he eventually married. In 1997, they went on to win the Lindy division of the American Swing Dance Championships and then subsequently returned to win the US Open championships.In addition to occasionally choreographing such notable movies as _Swing Kids(1993)_ and Malcolm X (1992), his other credits include: "Do You Come Here Often", "Dance", "Shall We Dance", "Souls in Motion", "Dancing and Singing the Blues", and 'Mr. Puntilla and his man Matti'.He has danced in music videos for Robert Palmer, Matt Bianco, Lisa Stansfield, Timmy Thomas and The Pasadenas.In 1987, he formed The Authentic Jazz Dance Company named "Zoots and Spangles".
