Janet du Plessis

Janet du Plessis opened APM (Artistes Personal Management) in Cape Town, South Africa in 1997 and today represents some of the top actors and actresses the continent has to offer, including Sean Cameron Michael, and Susan Danford amongst others. Her artists have worked on numerous local and international award-winning television and film productions filmed on South Africa shores for clients including Universal Pictures, Warner Bros, Fox, BBC and Sony.Janet has had the great pleasure of being involved in the performing arts from a young age. Her mother trained at LAMDA and their home was full of children taking drama classes. As an actress she has worked with acting legends such as Anthony Quinn, Simon Sabela, Rex Garner, Taubie Kushlick, Sean Taylor and Marius Weyers. She also has a BA in Drama & English (Rhodes) and BA Hons in Communication (Unisa).Janet is committed to developing working opportunities for actors in South Africa and being part of an agency that keeps an open flow of information between agent and actor.
