Disha Rindani

Disha is an Indian screenwriter, director, and editor. As a director/editor, Disha won the Silver Gateway of India Award for Best Short Film for BOMBAY 70. She also won the Silver Gateway of India Award for Best Short Documentary for Meet The Voice. Disha also directed the short documentary Main Hoon Team Balika, funded by the Sundance Institute's Stories of Change Initiative and Skoll Foundation; the film has been made part of recruitment efforts all over India to encourage girls' education. As a writer, Disha wrote additional screenplay for National Award Winner Konkona Sen Sharma's Directorial Debut A Death in the Gunj, and she co-wrote and associate directed the short film Paanipath, commissioned by National Geographic.
