Julian Savea

Position: Outside Back Born: 7/8/1990 Physical: 1.92m, 108kg (6'4", 238lb) Test Debut: v Ireland at Auckland, 9 June 2012 Julian Savea is a potent attacking player, with pace, strength and exceptional rugby vision that gives him the ability to seemingly create and score tries at will. Savea stormed into the All Blacks jersey in 2012 and was immediately earning comparisons with one of the most potent All Blacks wingers of all time, Jonah Lomu. Savea won the International Players Try of the Year Award in 2015, for a quarterfinal effort at RWC 2015 - and scored another seven tries last year. His career in black also includes New Zealand Secondary Schools in 2008 and All Blacks Sevens as a teenager in 2008 and 2009. Savea won the IRB's Junior Player of the Year Award in 2010 after scoring eight tries for the Junior World Championship-winning New Zealand Under 20 side. Show less «
