Her recent roles include playing Alex in the indie horror feature Mermaid Down (2017), Max Gibson in Batman Beyond: The Series, and Tin in Boomer Hogs (2017). Shani attended film school in Seattle where she studied acting, writing, and directing for the camera. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting and filmmaking career.
