Lauren Cooney

Lauren Cooney is an award-winning actor, writer, and director. She has a thirst for telling passionate, innovative, female-drive stories, which subvert and play with genre. She is a fan of comedy, drama, and all that's in between. As an actor she trained at the National Youth Theatre, Cambridge University, and Gaulier, as well as specialising in Meisner and Improv. Her films have screened at major film festivals around the world, including the Oscar-Qualifying Encounters where it was nominated for the Audience Award, and the prestigious Berlin British Shorts.
