Cole Coker (born Cole Dean Coker; January 24, 1998) entered the world in Kingwood Hospital, Kingwood, Texas. Cole is the youngest son of Lana and Denny Coker and the younger brother to Corey Coker. Cole inherited his thick blonde hair from his father's side and his exotic subtle Eurasian mystique from his maternal side. Lana's mother, Lan hails Vietnam. Early on Cole's physical education teacher, Tom DeBerry who's daughter is actor Allie DeBerry had encouraged Cole to pursue a career in acting. At that time however, Cole's only aspiration was to one day play baseball on "Coach DeBerry's" varsity team the Huffman Hargrave Falons. It seemed the logical chain of progression as Cole has always possessed above average athletic ability excelling in football, basketball and baseball. Meanwhile, in an alternative universe, 1,500 miles away in Hollywood, California, producer C. Allen Kotler and actor/director Rico Simonini were casting tween baseball players for a short film, entitled The Catch. After auditioning hundreds of young actors Simonini and Kotler had found that although many child actors looked like ball players and had great acting ability, most were substandard athletes. Upon receiving word of Cokers 750 batting average and athletic prowess, a friend showed Kotler the 14 year old in action via 'FaceTime' on his iPhone while playing ball on a Houston baseball diamond for the JWS Gators. Kotler asked the friend to pass his phone over to Cole's mother and 72 hours later the mother and son were on a flight to Hollywood. If his story ended there it would have been interesting enough, however that was just the beginning of his epic journey. When Cole and Lana arrived on the set, they met another young actor Daniel Nasser. Daniel's father, producer Joe Nasser was so taken with the young Texan that he cast Cole in the supporting role of Pidge in the remake of the 1954 Frank Sinatra film Suddenly starring Ray Liotta and Dominic Purcell. Although the young Texan has been blessed with miraculous fortune, he will never hesitate to tell anyone that his most valued treasure is his family. Show less «
