Ashlei Shyne

Ashlei Shyne was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. At a very young age, her dreams of performing ignited when she heard Whitney Houston sing for the first time. She began performing every Sunday in her church choir and joined her school glee club. After seeing a production of "Of Mice and Men", in elementary school, she was bit by the acting bug. She asked her teacher if she could direct the school first play, and not only did Ashlei direct the play, she was also cast as the lead actress. After studying theatre at the University of Toledo, she decided to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Television & Film. Soon after moving to Los Angeles, Ashlei's dreams began to unfold. Her first movie opportunity came in the summer of 2007. Nu Lite Entertainment offered her a role as Melanie Johnson in the feature film; "Johnson Family Dinner". After the movie wrap she began appearing in commercials, music videos, and film. Show less «
